About searches

Kronodoc searches apply to folders and documents. Two types of searches are available: keyword and advanced. Keyword searches are the simplest and useful when you only want to search using keywords and you do not want to restrict or sort the results using certain folders, properties, versions, life cycle status, types, or relevance. Advanced searches allow you to specify any of the preceding criteria. Advanced searches offer the additional benefit of the ability to store the search criteria for later reuse.

Search results are shown in the detail pane. If you select an item in the results to view its property page, you can return to the search results by clicking Back to search results in the upper right corner of the property page.

Each of the search types is described in the following topics.
